This laboratory mission is to characterize and predict the reactivity of new reaction systems and modeling these systems.

The research conducted makes it possible to develop reactor simulators incorporating thermodynamic, kinetic and hydrodynamic models that are then used for the scale-up of the associated processes.

In particular, the laboratory has expertise in the field of CO2 capture processes.

  • Batch reactor for the qualification of batch adsorption solvent (slow reaction)
  • Falling film reactor for the qualification of falling film adsorption solvent (rapid reaction)
  • Fluidized bed tool for solid tests at high temperature
  • Chemical Looping Combustion pilot unit (10 kW)
