This laboratory is responsible for characterizing and modeling the behavior of any type of complex fluid.
This requires an understanding of the interactions between the components of systems in order to be able to link them to macroscopic interface, transport or phase change phenomena. Experimental studies are conducted on a scale adapted to the systems and requirements and provide information for modeling the behavior of the systems studied.
This expertise is used in a broad variety of fields, including CO2 storage, problems related to hydrogen, water treatment, pollution remediation and plastic recycling, as well as foam and emulsion problems in processes.
